Keith Michaels Au.D., Doctor of Audiology and Hearing Instrument Specialist. He is from a family of hearing care professionals. The Michaels family have Six family members working in their seven different locations across the Los Angeles area. Keith received his Masters degree from CSULA, where renowned audiologists Dr. Miles Peterson and Dr. Peter Ivory guided him through his graduate work. He then went on and acquired his doctorate at Florida University Premiere program for audiology. Keith has helped fit thousands of people with hearing aids in the last several years and loves to work with people who have problems with their balance and/or vertigo.
Matt Michaels, M.S., CCC-A, is an Audiologist and Hearing Instrument Specialist. Mr. Michaels graduated from California State University, Northridge in 1995 with his Masters in Communication Disorders/Audiology. He has trained at the House Ear Clinic, CARE Center for Children and at the VA Hospital. He has been an advanced technology consultant for a leading manufacturer and has trained other professionals. He is known as a warm and caring hearing healthcare provider as well as a knowledgeable and skilled professional.
Ghalia Mohder, Au.D is a licensed clinical and dispensing audiologist. She attended the University of California at San Diego where she obtained a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Psychology and her Doctor of Audiology degree. Dr. Mohder joined the American Hearing and Balance team as a clinical fellow in 2009. She has extensive experience in various areas of audiology including comprehensive hearing assessments, balance testing, and working with the latest amplification technology. Dr. Mohder’s clinical skills and passion for helping others allows her to deliver premium care to her patients. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and holds certification through the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA). In her free time, Dr. Mohder enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and three young daughters.
Hearing Aid Dispenser
Patricia Michaels has been in the hearing profession for more than 25 years. She purchased the Arcade Hearing Aid Center in Santa Monica in 1984, and has been dispensing hearing instruments ever since. In the 80’s and 90’s she enjoyed close ties with the House Ear Institute, and helped them dispense many of their hearing devices. For the last 10 years she has developed a close relationship with the UCLA audiology program. She has a great reputation in Santa Monica for being a very warm and conscientious caregiver.
Michelle McCladdie, a Los Angeles native, has over 30 years’ experience serving the hearing-impaired community as an audiologist and hearing aid dispenser. She holds a master’s degree in audiology from Cal State, Los Angeles. Michelle has family members with hearing loss, and she uses amplification to treat her own hearing loss as well. To enhance service to her patients, Michelle has learned to communicate in both Spanish and sign language!
Ryan Kalberer is one of the American Hearing & Balance’s licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist. He comes from a long line of hearing health professionals, and from an early age knew he wanted to follow his father’s footsteps and help the world hear and communicate more efficiently. Ryan did most of his studies in Northern California, and has since relocated to help the needs of the great people of Los Angeles is now living his dream of helping people correct their hearing issues.
Norma Nash has been a devoted office manager to American Hearing & Balance for over twenty years. While business owners have come and gone, she has developed vast knowledge and experience within the hearing aid industry, as well as a personal relationship with longstanding patients.
Priscilla Monge, AuD. is licensed as a clinical Doctor of Audiology in California. She completed her undergraduate work at California State University, Los Angeles where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in Communicative Disorders. She also studied at A.T. Still University where she completed her Doctorate of Audiology. She is a member of the American Academy of Audiology and American Auditory Society. Priscilla is bilingual in Spanish and utilizes this to provide the best patient care to patients in the Los Angeles area. She is interested in vestibular diagnostics and advocating about hearing and balance health.
